The Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation supports academic scholarships, leadership training, and educational resources for Phi Sigma Kappa. Grants from the Foundation enable Phi Sig to focus on the Cardinal Principles of Scholarship and Character.
To Stimulate Scholarship
Academic Scholarships
The Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation awards academic scholarships annually. Scholarship recipients are carefully chosen based upon their academic success, commitment to the ideals of Phi Sigma Kappa and service to their campus, community and Fraternity.

Matching Grants for Local Scholarships
The Matching Grant Program helps undergraduate chapters and alumni clubs to provide merit based or need based scholarships for brothers. The Foundation will match local scholastic achievement awards given by chapters, colonies or alumni clubs, dollar for dollar. More information and applications are available here.
Chapter Educational Funds
Chapter Educational Funds (CEFs) are established by alumni for the benefit of a specific chapter. These funds further the charitable, educational, and other tax-exempt purposes of the Foundation by promoting leadership, providing educational facilities and equipment, and implementing scholarship programs for the benefit of members of the designated chapter.
To Develop Character
The Shonk Undergraduate Leadership School
The Albert D. Shonk, Jr. Leadership School offers members from every chapter and colony the opportunity to experience premier leadership sessions with a focus on hands-on techniques for balancing the ever-growing demands of life; while balancing the character and dignity demanded by the Phi Sigma Kappa Creed in their daily lives.
Lowe Volunteer Officers Conference
The Lowe Volunteer Conference provides an opportunity for chapter advisers, alumni club officers and regional volunteers to meet annually in conjunction with the Shonk Leadership School. These dedicated volunteers attend sessions on student development theory, today's campus trends, small business management and legal liabilities. The Lowe Conference provides volunteers with an opportunity to gain fresh ideas to enhance their respective chapters and regions.
Robert M. Zillgitt Leadership Institute
"Leadership for Life" is the mantra of the Robert M. Zilligitt Leadership Institute. The Zillgitt Institute provides education that benefits participants in all aspects of their lives, from fraternity to family, from college to the professional world. A select group of Phi Sigma Kappa collegians is invited to participate in enhanced leadership training.
Publications and Communications
The Foundation underwrites the production of leadership and training manuals and compact discs for chapters and alumni groups, educational portions of the Signet and other educational materials, and funding the ongoing process of making these resources available online.
