Founded in October 21, 1947, Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation’s express purpose is to promote academic excellence and serve as an educational funding resource for the members of Phi Sigma Kappa. Alumni contributions are the primary source of support for the Foundation. Gifts to the Annual Fund of the Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation ensure scholarships and educational programming for our members.
In the early years, the Foundation’s primary interest was to support a program of scholarships for the members. With scholarship awards beginning for the 1948-49 academic year, the Foundation is approaching its 60th Anniversary of providing scholarships to our members. Scholarship awards to date exceed more than $1.2 million.

In 1984, the Memorial Endowment Fund merged with the Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation and the focus of the Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation expanded to ensuring scholarships and educational programming.
