The Grand Chapter is happy to announce the return of a very importance piece of Phi Sigma Kappa history, as the Alpha Epsilon Chapter was recolonized at Emporia State University. Emporia was the site of the founding of Phi Sigma Epsilon on February 20, 1910 as the university’s first fraternity. The new group of 15 men participated in the Ritual of Association with numerous alumni present. The ritual was held at the Memorial Union in the Bloomer Veteran’s Hall of Honor, named in recognition of Gen. William Arthur Bloomer, an ESU and Alpha Epsilon alumnus. General Bloomer was in attendance for the ritual.
The men plan to continue recruiting for the remainder of this semester and hope to have 20+ men by winter break. You may “Like” the group's Facebook page to follow their progress. Anyone wishing to congratulate the new associates of Alpha Epsilon may contact Colony President, Joseph Gilligan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
